Do you know your metabolism?

By means of a modern measurement system, we are able to analyze your metabolism. As a consequence, you will be able to tell in what way your cells accumulate energy and how well you are able to perform physically.

MEASUREMENT & EVALUATION

Session takes about 35 minutes € 40.00

Have you ever tried to lose weight?

Then you are in good company. No small number of people would love to lose a pound or two. But most attempts either fall short or initial dieting successes just can't be sustained. Many have long since given up their dream of achieving their dream weight. It would seem our bodies are simply too refined. Or let us put it another way: it has become programmed for survival over the course of thousands of years. So, what happens when you eat less? Your body simply makes do with less. You eat more? You'll probably gain the weight right back. A fact pitilessly attested to by your bathroom scales.

There is only one way out of this situation! You must find a way of regularly metabolizing fat. This means, your daily energy requirements are mainly covered by body fat, rather than by carbohydrates and metabolized sugars in your daily diet. Only then will you lose body weight naturally and feel revitalized.

What is Lipometabolism?

The human body is made up of hundreds of billions of cells. Within these cells, nutrition is burned and transformed into life energies, something we refer to as metabolism. The human body only recognizes two sources of "fuel", sugar and fat. In order to be able to lose weight successfully, you need to know how your metabolism works. Whether it burns calories from sugar or fat deposits, what your personal basal metabolic rate is and how much oxygen makes it from the air you breathe into your cells.

Which source, fat or sugar, is used within your cells to gain energy, can be determined by measuring your breath, since residual metabolic byproducts are exhaled.

Because of a lack of knowledge regarding personal lipometabolism, many weight-loss attempts are unsuccessful. General nutritional recommendations do not always meet your personal needs.

How metabolism measurement is done

It is actually very uncomplicated. You breathe in and out through a special mouthpiece for about 5 minutes. You can either sit or lie down, quietly and relaxed. The monitor measures your breath and passes the information on to a software program developed expressly for this purpose. Immediately after the measurement is complete, you will receive an evaluation of your metabolism in graphic form. A Figurwell coach will then explain the results to you in greater detail. You will receive information about the following:

  • ratio of sugar versus fat metabolism
  • oxygen intake capacity of your cells
  • calorie consumption rate at rest

What do you have to pay attention to prior to the metabolism assessment?

It's actually quite simple. Firstly, make an appointment. The whole process takes about 35 minutes. Don't eat for 2 hours beforehand. You don't need to wear any special workout clothing and the test is not in the slightest bit strenuous.
